A whole lot going on in 2018

Greetings, park users!

We’re planning another season of great events – here’s a run-down for the year ahead.

Thursday day 1st March – Daffodil Day: Join us in the Dog and Duck at 222 Chingford Road E17 5AL to welcome the Spring. From 8pm.

Monday 7th May – The Lloyd Park May Fair: Usher in Spring proper at the May Fair. Yet again, we’ll be hosting the ever-popular dog show. More details will be available soon. If you’d like to help us on the day, we’d love to hear from you. Just email folpe17@gmail.com.

Saturday and Sunday, 14th and 15th July – The Walthamstow Garden Party: Another big bash arranged by the Barbican in east London’s greatest public park, with music, stalls, skateboarding and vibes aplenty.

Saturday and Sunday 9th and 10th JuneCarters Steam Fair returns by popular demand.

Saturday 18th August, 4 – 6pm – FOLP members’ Petanque Party: Midsummer party for FOLP members.

TBA, 7.30pm – FOLP 2018 AGM: A review of the year, and a look ahead to next year. Members and non-members welcome.

Saturday 27th October, from midday:  Halloween Skate Jam

Sunday 28th October, 11-1pm – Lloyd Park Bulb Planting Day: A day of daff-planting action. Meet us at the Aveling Centre cafe, grab a spade, a few bulbs, and get stuck in.

Sunday 16th December, 2.0-4.0pm – Christmas Sing-a-Long: Details to follow, but you can rely on a steady supply of carols, mulled wine, mince pies and seasonal goodwill.
