The 2015 AGM: can you come?

We’d like to say thank you to everyone who has supported FOLP this year, whether that’s as a member, a volunteer or as a visitor to one of our events.

But we’ve just got one more thing to ask of you. We’d love to see you at our AGM at 7.30pm on Thursday 26 November. It’s being held at Hillyfield at the Park Primary Academy, at the bottom of Aveling Park Road.

We’ll be discussing lots of key issues for the park next year, including:

The 2016 Walthamstow Garden Party – reviewing last year’s event and looking at plans for next year. Rachel Smith from the Barbican will be there, and the meeting will be a great opportunity to give your views.

FOLP activities next year – it’s your chance to influence next year’s other events. Did you love the May Day Dog Show? Have views on the Festive Singalong? Come along and let us know what’s working, and what we can do better.

FOLP board of directors – would you like to be more involved in FOLP? The AGM is when refresh the board of directors. If you’re interested in joining the board then please let me know, either by return mail or by coming along on the night

We’ll also be approving the accounts from last year. Maybe not so exciting… but important!

It would be great to see you on 26 November – and if we haven’t already met, to say hello.
