Walthamstow Garden Party

You are invited to be part of Walthamstow Garden Party In The Air, a reimagining of Walthamstow Garden Party which was scheduled to take place on 18 and 19 July in Lloyd Park. Waltham Forest residents are invited to get creative in the comfort of their own home and channel the spirit of the festival.

From 1 July local arts organisations are creating free resources and sharing ideas to help you get creative, including decorative ‘kimono’ kite making with Blackhorse Workshop, weaving with Rezia Wahid from the Muslim Cultural Forum, plus a whole range of artist workshops and family activities from Artillery, William Morris Gallery, Scribble & Smudge, Walthamstow Toy Library and Play Centre and many more.

Plus, throughout the weekend of 18 and 19 July, East London Radio will be bringing you activities, discussions and music from our Walthamstow Garden Party friends.

Check back on Wednesday 1 July to discover all the other activities you can take part in, learn about our partners and share your creations using #WGPInTheAir across social media.

Walthamstow Garden Party In The Air is produced by the Barbican in partnership with London Borough of Waltham Forest, and with the support of Arts Council England.
